Quarantine eating made easy – more lifestyle

While the whole country is under lock and key, most of us are cleaning, cooking and especially working at home. So we have neither the time nor the energy to invest in the preparation of decent food. The ability to order food decreases every day and the person feels almost helpless while cooking. Even for those who love and know how to cook, we are now in a situation where it is necessary to remember our stock resources and not have fun with beautiful dishes based on 50 ingredients.

When preparing most of the main ingredients you also have to make sure that we prepare something healthy so that you don’t end up in an unhealthy snack routine.

To solve all your gastronomic dilemmas, chefs have developed healthy, simple and quick recipes that require a minimum of ingredients yet are delicious. Choose between the universal Rava Uttapam and the decadent fish market.

Grass roast chicken


Whole bone-in chicken, smoked pepper 2 teaspoons, ¼ glass of minced garlic, 2 teaspoons olive oil, 2 teaspoons normal oil, 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, 1 teaspoon oregano, ½ teaspoon pepper powder


Mix all ingredients in the bowl, except the chicken.

Rub the whole chicken with the marinade and set aside for 1 to 2 hours.

Then the chicken is put in the microwave for 35 minutes and stripped of that golden brown colour for 10 minutes.

Rava uttapam


½ cup curdled milk, ½ cup water, 1 cup semolina, 1 tablespoon rice flour, 1 tablespoon green chili pepper, 1 tablespoon chopped coriander, salt to taste, 2 tablespoons oil.


Mix the cottage cheese with water in a bowl.

Add the semolina, rice flour and green chillies and mix well. Stay out of the way for 15 minutes.

Lubricate the oil on the microwave plate and pour the paste into it evenly.

Microwave for a minute and 30 seconds.

Turn the microwave upside down and turn it on for another 30 seconds.

A side dish of chopped coriander.

Market fish


4 pieces of fish of your choice, boneless, 1/2 tablespoon smoked pepper, 2 tablespoons chopped garlic, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 tablespoon salt


Mix all the ingredients, except the fish, in a bowl.

Wipe the mixture over the fish to be marinated for 30-35 minutes.

Then put the fish in the microwave until it’s cooked evenly…

Sweet potatoes – Indian style


2-3 sweet potatoes, 1 tablespoon cumin, 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder, 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 tablespoon olive oil


Mix all ingredients in the microwave.

Cook in the microwave for 8 to 10 minutes.

Beetroot, carrot and ginger juice

Spare parts :

180 g carrots, 170 g beetroot, 180 g peeled apples, 2 tablespoons ginger, 2 tablespoons lemon juice


Slice the vegetables and apples and mix them into a thick cocktail.

Pour into a glass and serve with a thin slice of lime on the side.
